Technology Workshop

The race to scale advice by 2030

Tuesday 18 November | 1:15pm - 3:15pm

Overview

In a world where standing still is falling behind, the financial advice industry faces a pivotal moment. Join us for a high-octane journey through the past, present, and future of advice, where we will assess the speed of innovation required to succeed into the future.

We open with a shock factor: a visceral look at the speed of change, the fear of overload, and the risk of complacency. Through interactive statistics and audience insights, we assess where we are—and where we must go.

The journey continues through the current landscape of 2025, where advice is still largely manual, expensive, and exclusive. We explore the problems of scale, privacy, and brand dilution, and confront the confusion around AI—which tools to trust, and how to use them without losing the human touch.

Then, we accelerate.

The showcase segment brings the Formula 1 metaphor to life: from 20 hours of work to 3 hours, from $5,000 per client to scalable, accessible advice for millions of Australians. We will imagine a virtual future of advice, where data flows like fuel, AI is the co-pilot, and human connection becomes a premium experience.

This session will be CPD accredited

Marin Wealth
Pedro Marin Ramirez is a bilingual (Spanish) CFP professional who began his journey in Caracas, Venezuela, and now calls Brisbane, Australia home. Seventeen years ago, he arrived in Brisbane with just a suitcase and a dream of building a better future.
